Danse Macabre in the Powder Snow

  • The 3rd case for Inspector Arno Bussi

Arno Bussi is bored to death in the statistics department of the Federal Criminal Police Office. But, since life must go on, he has found a new hobby for himself: triathlons, for which he is training seriously in cold, wet Vienna when his mother talks him into spending a few days in Maria Schnee, where the annual ice festival is just around the corner. When he gets there, the Alpine hullabaloo he is met with makes him wish he could turn right back around again.

But then the charming ice princess Rosa disappears. And because Arno’s mother claims she saw her being kidnapped, Bussi decides to investigate on his own. Things get really serious when a dead body turns up, the determined Erna Katz from the Tyrol State Criminal Police Office intervenes, and, to top it all off, the snowstorm of the century blows into Maria Schnee…

“A wonderful feel-good thriller with an inspector you immediately take a shine to.” – Cathrin Beckmann, WDR, on Die Toten vom Lärchensee
