The heat wave this August has even Brittany firmly in its grasp, and there’s no chance to cool down in sight for Commissaire Dupin. To top it all off, Nolwenn is planning a big celebration for his 10th work anniversary, and he hates being the center of attention.

But then, one morning, a dead man is fished out of the sea on the coast near Concarneau, a resident of the legendary Belle-Île – and before he knows it, Dupin is on board a speedboat headed toward the “most beautiful island in the world.”
