Whether we’re dreaming at night, exercising in the morning, trying to concentrate at work, or having that infamous “one beer too many” late at night – our brain is working around the clock. It’s essential to our well-being – at least when everything is running smoothly. Bent Freiwald explores all the things our brain does and shares surprising insights that can help us navigate everyday life more effectively.

Following the course of a perfectly ordinary day, brain expert and science journalist Bent Freiwald explains the incredible feats the human brain performs on a daily basis – and how you can apply that knowledge to become more disciplined, eat healthier, trust your gut, or move on from a breakup. His goal: to entertain without oversimplifying.
