Anna is 36, once engaged, now separated from the father of her child, and venturing back into the dating scene after 12 years. She has no clue about dating apps, polyamory, or modern ghosting etiquette – but she’s ready to find out.
We follow Anna as she reflects on romance, the best places to date, and her generation’s alleged commitment phobia. We accompany her on her dates, some of which push her to her limits – and almost all of which teach her something about herself. Is she more uptight than she thought? Not as feminist as she imagined? Is she looking for a partner for life, or just a bit of fun?
In her fight against big-city loneliness, she encounters annoying fuckboys, closet racists, pick-up artists, and other eccentric contemporaries. It’s bizarre, entertaining, and instructive. And we discover what’s acceptable in dating in 2025, what’s out of bounds, and what at least will make a good story.
