Alexander Bojcan, stage name Kurt Krömer, is 47 years old, a recovering alcoholic, single dad of four kids, and was depressed for years. He doesn’t want to hide anymore. You Shouldn’t Believe Everything You Think is the relentlessly honest and also funny account of the life of an artist who breaks a taboo, but not for the sake of breaking a taboo but rather to help people who suffer from depression or who have been through similar years-long medical odysseys as his.

This book advocates taking an open approach to mental illness. At the same time, it is not an account of suffering but a funny and extremely endearing declaration of love to life and art.
