Jan is shy and hesitant. And he is in love with his classmate Lina. Lina however only dreams of acting school The only way to stay near her is to apply for acting school as well. But while she is accepted at the famous Otto Falckenberg School in Munich, he still does not manage to send in his application. When one day, out of the blue, he receives a letter with his acceptance, it turns out that his twin brother Henrik, who is exactly his opposite – loud-mouthed and completely fearless – has filed the application and passed the examination in his name.

For Jan the acting school is the biggest risk he has ever taken. In addition he has to find out that his brother’s conduct during examination time has not always been what one would call decent. The theatre turns out to be a cosmos with its own laws: whistling is forbidden, the seating arrangement in the canteen is baffling, and his first audition in the big theatre is a complete disaster. But Lina is worth taking any risk for…

By the time of the magical Christmas party, Jan has come to terms with the madness of theatre life. He had learnt from an early age that as a twin it is difficult to become one with the universe in any case. Little by little Jan fights his way a little closer to his great love. And in doing so, he uses everything that he has learnt at the acting school; fencing, flirting and – breathing into his feet.
